Why the happy faces?

This has to be one the most uncomplimentary picture of Russell and his parents that I have ever seen! A mixture of terror and exhaustion??? It's been six years since we've gotten Grandpa Scott on an airplane to come visit. Why after six years, especially when serving a full-time mission, did they get on that plane?
To be here when Russell was called into the new Bishopric and to ordain him!
