In Tucson, we go to school on President's Day so that later that same week, we can celebrate Rodeo Days. (4-day weekend) Does anyone attend the Rodeo? Not in our neighborhood. They head to California!

Just seven weeks after Christmas Disneyland adventure, we couldn't resist the lure of Aunt Lori's free 3-day passes! Without pregnant Megan and 'height-challenged' Kenna as protectors, Bethany was at the mercy of "nothing scares me" Marah. First obstacle - "Tower of Terror", and she survived (barely). Mean Marah made her ride again because she ducked.
Relieved that CA Adventure closed weeknights at 9 pm, Bethany enjoyed the calmer rides and playing dress up in the shops at Disneyland.
Cousins Cam & Leighton flew in for day 2 & 3 so the girl trip evolved into a cousin weekend. 
Bethany endured "Tower of Terror" with the cousins, but withstood intense pressure to ride CA Screamin'. We waved goodbye as she stood alone, holding everyone's backpacks, cameras and purses. 
Deciding that standing alone while we rode was worse than terror, Bethany rode the 2nd time. Now it's her favorite!
